What a day. The  Brew City Tournament kicked off at dawn with 90 boats fanning out across the lake. Our team Set off in our Weldcraft Black Ops and set lines at 5:30 and quickly landed a 12-pound King, then several more in the sixteen to nineteen pound range. Around 7 AM, seven good fish were already in the cooler. From there, you fished selectively, catching about 30 total while targeting only the best. Captain Nick suggested a deeper spot, and just before a storm rolled in, you hooked three big Kings at once. Waves rising, lightning nearby, you wisely headed in. At weigh-in, your cooler was so heavy, it drew a crowd. The leading team had144 pounds, but you came in at151, sealing the win. Huge thanks to your first mates Silas and Robbie, to Captain Nick for advice, and to  everyone who supported us. A hard-earned victory on Lake Michigan, and one to remember. Nicely done.
