Brown Trout City
October 18, 2026 / /
After a week of heavy winds and huge waves, topping out near 14 feet, we finally made it back out yesterday and found a school of brown trout. We’re still trying to figure out where the king salmon went, but these chunky browns are making up for it, and they’re eating well too. With water temperatures around 52 degrees, we’re finding them in the shallows, which is helping put us on some good fishing. We’ll keep watching conditions this October and see how things shift, because that unpredictability is kind of the fun part. Come join Milwaukee Offshore Fishing and let’s see what’s biting.
